ABOUT ROB VOMUND

Based in the Sacramento area, I shoot throughout Northern California and travel for special assignments. My clients include large national firms, small locally owned businesses, publications as well as families and individuals.

I started shooting photos as a teenager, but I have not always owned my own photography business. Prior to launching Vomund Photography I spent 22-years as a marketing and public relations professional for a mid-sized computer software firm. In that role I used to hire photographers! Prior to that I earned my degrees in Business Marketing and Communications from California State University, Sacramento.

In addition to photography, I have rock solid writing skills, honed from my years in marketing and public relations. I've written and published a wide range of magazine articles, typically coupled with my photographs.

I've always had a customer centric focus. That seems to be in my DNA! I look to form real partnerships with each of my clients, and my client's goals become mine!

Along with my wife, Susan, I reside in El Dorado Hills, California. In addition to photography, I enjoy tennis, bicycling, hiking and backpacking.
