I read in my local newspaper that a conservation
group was giving tours of the Mather Vernal Pools, about
30 minutes from my home. To be honest, I didn't know
much about vernal pools. I learned a lot on the tour,
but it was not a good photography day. Winds reportedly
were gusting up to 45 MPH. I was just hard to keep my
sunglasses on my face!
I
made a mental note to come back when the conditions
were more favorable. As you can see in the photo, I
found the day. This photograph draws the eye first to
the incredible clouds in the sky. Next, you see the
beautiful carpet of yellow flowers. It's a combination
that's rare to capture in a single image. ~

Print
Materials: Though they are called "standard prints," the quality is in fact well above average. Printroom will print your image using the same Kodak Endura Metallic paper I use to produce my Fine Art prints. This paper has a "pearl" like quality, making for bright saturated colors as well as very sharp and crisp images.
Image Sizing: The length and widths above fit most of my images. Some images are cropped, thus changing the length to width ratio. Once you click the order link above, a new order window will open. Once the new window opens, be sure to click the "preview" link for the size of print you want to order. By clicking the small icons below the image you will be able to determine how the image will be printed on the page, and you will see the results on your screen. If nothing changes when you click those icons, it means the photo already cropped to the correct size.
Timing:

Image Sizing: The length-to-width ratios vary for the different print sizes above. While most images can me made to fit most print sizes, there may be exceptions. If I feel that the printing ratio may cause issues with an image you have selected, I will notify you of that, before your order is processed.
Purchase
Process: Once your order is confirmed I will
email to you a PayPal invoice. PayPal accepts major credit cards in a very secure online format. Once PayPal
notifies me that payment has been made I will send your image to the lab for printing and shipment.
Timing:
Turn around time is generally one week between the time
I receive payment to when you will receive your print.
Add one extra week for hand signed prints. If you need your print sooner, please let me know. I will do my
best to meet your needs. Occasionally I travel and may
be unable to start your print order for one or two weeks.
If this is the case you will be notified immediately after
placing your print order. If the time delay is an issue
you may cancel your order and you will not be charged.
Shipping
Details: Small prints will ship USPS and larger ones will will be shipped via
UPS ground, insured and trackable. Small prints will be
shipped flat, while larger prints will be rolled and shipped
in a tube.
California Residents: 7.25% sales tax will be added to the total of your order.
Guarantee:
If your print is damaged
when you receive it, I will replacement it. As I custom print images for each and every
order, I can't offer a general return or exchange of your
print.
